Patient Results

Patients having pathology and other investigations should have an appointment made for review of these results. If urgent, we will contact you to arrange an appointment to discuss your results. Please note that we will do our best to follow up your results, however, patients also have responsibility in their own health care; this includes the seeking of results.

Recall system: Our practice has a recall system for preventive health like cervical screening, immunisation, flu vaccination and other health assessments.

In most circumstances, if your doctor has ordered blood tests or medical imaging patients are required to make an appointment to discuss the results personally. This provides a high standard of medical care and ensures patient confidentiality as it can be hard to identify a person over the phone.

After-Hours  Non-Urgent Arrangements:Please call Phone: 1800 022 222 .
If there is a medical emergency please call 000

Minor Procedures

The gap for procedures ranges from $50 to $150, depending on type and length of procedure. Your Doctor will discuss this with you during your initial consultation.

An exciting announcement is coming soon! First Point Healthcare is now under new, award-winning management—honoured as RACGP Best Practice in Tasmania 2024.
