Please ring 6331 1166 for an appointment.

Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your GP has been called away.

Longer consultation times are available, so please ask your GP if you require some extra time.

If you or a family member require an interpreter service, we can organise this for you. Please let us know when you make the appointment.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please ring us to cancel or change your appointment.

Our ‘Did Not Attend’ policy requires us to send you an account for the appointment that you do not attend and have not let us know. You will be required to pay this account, before you can make another appointment.

 

Care Outside Normal Opening Hours Arrangements

The practice provides 24-hour medical advice for patients, shared with at times, an accredited medical deputising service – GPAssist Tasmania.

Please ring the normal surgery number on 6331 1166 and the answering machine message will list a mobile phone number for the doctor or a number to ring for GPAssist Tasmania.

 

Home and Other Visits

Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery, and is up to the discretion of the doctor.

 

Telephone Access

Your doctor MAY be contacted during normal surgery hours. If he/she is with a patient, a message will be taken and the reception staff will advise you when it is likely that the GP will return your call. Your call will always be put through to your GP or Practice Nurse in an emergency.
